Beta version — not legal advice.
This page is a plain-language description written for the CardFlip Pro beta. It should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before it is relied on as final legal text.
Operator details, contact email, refund promise and privacy terms confirmed by the owner (Michael Houck, Card Flipper Pro).
1. Who runs CardFlip Pro
CardFlip Pro is operated by Card Flipper Pro (Michael Houck), based in New York, USA.
Privacy contact: michaelhouck574@yahoo.com. You can also reach us through the in-app Beta feedback form.
2. What we collect
- Account data — your email address, a display name, your account type, and sign-in details. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email and name from that provider. Passwords are handled by our sign-in system and are never visible to us.
- Card inventory — what you enter: player, year, set, card number, grade, quantity, costs, lots, notes, and your own value estimates.
- Card photos — front and back photos you upload. They are stored privately and shown only to your account.
- Sales records — sale prices, fees, shipping, tax amounts and platforms you record.
- Beta feedback — messages you send through the feedback form, linked to your account.
- Technical data — basic request logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting. We do not use advertising trackers.
3. AI suggestions
If you use photo scan, price suggestions or the popularity report, the photos and card details involved are sent to an AI model provider to produce the suggestion. Suggestions are estimates, not market data. Don't use these features if you don't want that data processed this way.
4. Who can see your data
Your inventory, photos, sales and feedback are private to your account; access rules in our database block other users from reading them. The public marketplace is turned off during the beta.
We use service providers to run the app (hosting, database and file storage, sign-in, AI processing). They process data on our behalf. We do not sell your data.
Service providers in use: Lovable Cloud (hosting, database, file storage and sign-in; data stored in the United States) and an AI model provider that processes photos and card details only when you use an AI suggestion feature.
5. Payments
No payments are taken during the free beta. If paid plans launch later, this policy will be updated before any purchase is possible.
6. How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete individual cards (including their photos), lots and sales at any time in the app, and export your inventory and sales as CSV.
To delete your whole account and its data, send a request through Beta feedback or michaelhouck574@yahoo.com. We complete account deletion within 30 days of a request. Backups and technical logs are kept for the standard retention period of our hosting provider and then deleted.
7. Your choices
You can view, correct, export and delete your data in the app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law — email us at the address above and we will handle your request.
8. Cookies and device storage
We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in. If you install the app, static files (not your private data) are cached on your device so it loads faster.
9. Children
CardFlip Pro is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to use it.
10. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top.
