Beta version — not legal advice.
This page is a plain-language description written for the CardFlip Pro beta. It should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before it is relied on as final legal text.
Operator details, contact email, refund promise and privacy terms confirmed by the owner (Michael Houck, Card Flipper Pro).
1. The short version
Treat people the way you'd want to be treated in a card shop, and list cards the way you'd want to buy them: real cards, real photos, honest descriptions, fair prices.
2. Be honest
- Be honest in your listings — describe the card as it is, including flaws, and use your own photos of the actual card.
- Price fairly and answer buyer messages reasonably.
- Respect other members. Disagree about a price or a grade without attacking the person.
- Report listings that break the rules instead of confronting the seller.
- Keep all buying and selling inside the app once it launches — it protects both sides.
3. Not allowed
- Harassment, threats, hate speech or personal attacks of any kind.
- Counterfeits, reprints, proxies or altered cards sold as authentic.
- Asking buyers to pay outside the app, share payment details, or move to other chat apps.
- Fake sales claims, fake scarcity, shill bids or manipulating your own listing activity.
- Spam, advertising other services, or scraping other people's listings.
- Impersonating another person, business or CardFlip Pro staff.
The full list of what can never be listed is in the Prohibited items policy. The general rules for using the app are in the Terms of Service.
4. Moderation
Listings on CardFlip Marketplace are reviewed before they go live. Some checks run automatically with AI, and anything suspicious is held for a human review. Listings with several open reports are hidden until they are reviewed. Every moderation action is logged.
5. Reporting and enforcement
Use the report option on a listing, or the in-app Beta feedback form, to report a problem. Depending on what happened, we may remove a listing, warn an account, or suspend an account. Serious violations (counterfeits, fraud, threats) can mean a permanent ban. We may contact you by email about a report involving your account.
6. Appeals
If we removed your listing or restricted your account by mistake, reply to the email we sent you or write to michaelhouck574@yahoo.com. We will take another look and explain what we found.
7. Changes
These guidelines may change during the beta, and the date at the top will change when they do.
